Samsung Galaxy S4 Specs and Release Date
Samsung is already working behind the scenes with the Samsung Galaxy S4, but the question is just what all this phone brings novelty and what specifications?
In a nutshell it comes down to is that the Samsung Galaxy S IV has a 4.99-inch HD AMOLED (Active Matrix OLED) display features. That sounds nice, full HD, but if Samsung again uses PenTile we are less enthusiastic.
For the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 has been assumed that Samsung had managed to get a high resolution AMOLED screen with regular RGB format to produce. Unfortunately ran against manufacturing that will hopefully now be resolved. Problem however is that the competition en masse is passed on Full HD screens. And thus, Samsung can not stay behind. It would therefore be that time for PenTile is selected. That is not necessarily a problem because a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels in an area with a diagonal of 4.99 inches provides a PPI up from 441. Much more so than we can perceive with the eye. This panel will Samsung at the CES trade show exhibit early next year so hopefully we will know more.
2 GHz Exynos 5450?
Also news on the front of the future Samsung Galaxy S4 processor. A different source says that this is a quadcore Exynos 5450 chip running at 2.0 GHz. This chipset would be based on Cortex A15 and is less energy efficient than the current Cortex A9 in the Galaxy S3 .
That problem could be solved with an (even) bigger battery. Another possibility is that Samsung chose a hybrid solution in which the Cortex A15 alternating with older but energy efficient Cortex cores. Coincidentally, such a processor Samsung would announce on February 19. This big.LITTLE processor has eight cores. Four of them are based on Cortex A15 and run at 1.8 GHz. The other four are of the Cortex A7 and running at 1.2 GHz. Through powerful cores with energy efficient cores must combine theory a phone yet powerful enough to get through the day.
