Mozilla is claiming that a tablet PC based on the new Firefox OS coming very soon, although the exact date has not been specified.

The first smartphone based on Firefox operating system have started to come for sale in Spain this week, and now it's time for tablets to be developed, said chief technology officer of Mozilla Brendan Eich.

The smartphones already have taken top place in the market, now it is the time to focus on tablets. The developers are very interested in coding on this platform. It is the first time when I heard that Mozilla tied to a tablet because Mozilla's Taiwan office showed a prototype tablet with Firefox operating system in last month.

This model was developed in partnership with Foxconn. The Foxconn is a major Chinese manufacturer that makes electronics devices for a ton of other companies. The Foxconn is making plan to hire between 2000 and 3000 engineers to take a part in this project for supporting the development of HTML5 and cloud software products based on Firefox operating system.
